Reddit user Gfgrubb has a beautiful little daughter named Layla who was born with a small cataract that clouds the vision in her right eye. So in order to help the injured eye develop correctly, she is forced to wear a patch over her strong eye for 2 hours a day, everyday. The patching at this early age prevents ambylopia or the lazy eye disorder, where the vision in one eye does not fully develop during childhood.
However, according to her Dad, "Layla gets irritated quite easily while wearing the eyepatch, so it’s not that easy how it may look." So to make the best out of a tough situation Layla's father has been drawing different doodles on her eyepatch everyday. And and you can see from the pictures, Layla seems to be in much better spirits these days.
